Tasting Notes:Primitivo (also known as Zinfandel in other parts of the world) has its ancestral home in this part of Italy. After being hand-picked and sorted, the grapes are vinified in stainless steel to maintain their fresh fruit character, then left to settle in oak vats for 10 months allowing the wine to soften and harmonise. The result is succulent bramble fruit, with gentle tannins and a fresh finish.
